| Andrew Rose Position: Director and Chief Financial Officer Andrew Rose was until March 2008 Chief Financial Officer of Burren Energy, the UK independent oil and gas company which he joined in 2001, when it was a private company, and helped to list it on the London Stock Exchange in December 2003 and to build it into one of the UK's most successful mid tier independent oil companies, culminating in its sale to ENI in January 2008. Prior to joining Burren Energy he had spent his career in investment banking, working in advisory, capital markets and structured finance roles, and most recently was head of Corporate Finance for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa at Societe Generale. He has an MA in Engineering from Cambridge University. Andrew joined Gulfsands as Chief Financial Officer in June 2008. | |
